So, well, I would everything in life has its purpose and charm. Well written post and a good read, Sunshine. Keep us posted. I shall now go read up about this Kon Mari 'thing'. I have never been on facebook and I don't intend to be in future, I just don't understand its appeal. But I have been looking at ways to reduce the toxicity around me that is caused by the internet in general...the endless stream of misery exaggerated and presented in different ways by million news websites, the bleeding heart messages that pop up on whatsapp groups from people who have no stake in the tragedy, the hyperlinking mechanism that causes me to waste massive amounts of time...the list is endless. For a while, I tried blocking all news websites and got off whatsapp but it was way too hard. I am trying to find other ways to weed out these things from my life that do nothing but upset, scare and frustrate me.Poohhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08360643998691972101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14545899.post-74101112565773608102016-08-22T14:02:46.345-07:002016-08-22T14:02:46.345-07:00Love this post! TBH, I konmaried my Facebook newsfeed too and its been a pleasure seeing my news feed now (only friends I really care about or those who post interesting stuff... I even unfollowed the pages so I can go see them when I want to, instead of their posts being thrust in my news feed). I still see stuff like Cleverly, Nifty, etc. but its ok because I do like to watch a quick 30 second video of how to boil eggs, for instance. Or bake a cake. I like your FB posts, comes as a refreshing change to all the kid-and-romance crap that otherwise used to show up. So please don't stop posting there. Pretty please!!

On a different note, try KMing your possessions. That was the best gift I gave myself this year. I'm turning 30 this year and it has been awesomely freeing to let go of the past and come to terms with things that I no longer need or will be (sexy shoes for clubbing - do I really need 10? when all the clubbing I've done in the past year has used just two of those shoes? And when I don't foresee my clubbing rate to go up, only down? You get the drift.) It made my home look way bigger and my calendar loves it that I don't have to rush to do anything. :)Alpine Pathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15028192649180303567noreply@blogger.com
