Had read these lines somewhere.

Oh God! Give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

As an aside, I have always felt the 'shraddho' ceremony of Bengalis utterly pointless. Not the rituals but the feast part (I call it a feast because eventually that's what it becomes with all and sundry being invited). I personally find the 'chautha' and such ceremonies of many North Indian communities to be more meaningful.Rajarshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00949837409466343426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14545899.post-84894659608124864132010-07-07T19:35:37.948-07:002010-07-07T19:35:37.948-07:00You reminded me of this. You reminded me of this.Philoticshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05589998562936677106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14545899.post-59801496862734226612010-07-07T14:56:08.117-07:002010-07-07T14:56:08.117-07:00You watched "wonder years"?You watched "wonder years"?dipthoughthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18235211045530849384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14545899.post-89322223703052109602010-07-07T14:44:48.651-07:002010-07-07T14:44:48.651-07:00change is an inevitable part of life, so much so w...change is an inevitable part of life, so much so we keep needing it at every instance good or bad.
